General Description:
The innovation consists in a mechanism that allows transfer, at the will of the cyclist, of energy from the rear wheel to the front wheel, thus producing a two-wheel drive bicycle.
An additional chain, installed on the rear wheel, is linked to the front wheel. It is therefore the rear wheel, by the addition of the second chain, which activates a pinion fixed to the front wheel.
The rotational synchronism drives the two wheels at equal speeds. The Four-Season two-wheel drive bicycle can climb a muddy hill as well as an icy road.
The design of the energy transfer system from one wheel to the other is unique in its kind. Inexpensive and simple, it allows the creation of a four-season two-wheel drive bicycle. Cycling becomes possible all year round, thus transforming significantly the conventional bicycle.
